Role Overview:

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will take on a leadership role in managing and executing interior design projects from inception through to completion. You will be proficient in using Revit for interior design and responsible for guiding projects through RIBA stages 0 to 5. Your expertise in hospitality, leisure, sports and healthcare facility interiors will be crucial in delivering high-quality, client-focused results. You will also be involved in pitching to potential clients and managing the coordination between the design team, architects, and clients to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage interior design projects through all RIBA stages, from initial concept (Stage 0) to practical completion (Stage 5). Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Client Interaction: Present and pitch design proposals to potential clients. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Coordination: Work closely with architects, design teams, and clients to coordinate all aspects of interior design packages. Oversee the integration of design elements with architectural requirements and ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Revit Proficiency: Utilize Revit for interior design to create detailed and accurate 3D visualizations. Ensure that design documentation is precise and effectively communicated to all stakeholders.
  • Detail Orientation: Demonstrate a meticulous attention to detail, particularly in joinery packages and design details. Ensure all aspects of the design are executed with the highest level of accuracy and quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Act as a team player, fostering a collaborative environment. Listen effectively to team members and clients, incorporating feedback and insights to enhance design outcomes.
  • Time Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong focus on time management to meet deadlines and project milestones.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Significant experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio across sectors demonstrating expertise in hospitality, leisure, sports and healthcare facilities. Proven track record of leading projects through RIBA stages.
  • Skills: Proficient in Revit for interior design, with advanced 3D visualization capabilities. Extensive experience with joinery packages and details.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., RIBA) is a plus.
