"Combined community facilities bring so much to their local areas. As we all start to look closer to home for our services, this centre will provide a sense of place and belonging for the people of Little Lever."

Construction is underway on the new £3m Little Lever Library and Health Centre, joint commissioned by Bolton Council and NHS Bolton CCG.

The new community development incorporates 3 GP practices, providing routine primary medical services and support for long-term conditions.
Patients will also be offered access to a wider range of other primary care services such as clinical pharmacists, physiotherapists and mental health practitioners who can all act as a first point of contact for patients.
Completion is expected in July 2021.
