A new hybrid endovascular theatre suite, designed to transform the treatment of patients at the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The suite consists of two hybrid theatres equipped with advanced technology, including a robotic C-arm with the ability to scan patients during surgery.
The design and installation of a suite of this complexity demanded extreme due-diligence.
An innovative modular construction technique was used which met all fire, radiation and sound insulation requirements, but could be quickly disassembled for rapid access.
